The submitted file specifically pertains to one suspect and involves allegations of two indecent assaults against two women in London. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirmed that detectives have been working diligently to compile the necessary evidence and will continue to collaborate closely with CPS prosecutors as the legal process moves forward.
Suspects and Legal Proceedings
- A man and a woman, both in their 80s, were interviewed under caution last month on suspicion of aiding and abetting rape and sexual assault, as well as assisting in the commission of sexual offences.
- Earlier this year, authorities questioned four other individuals, including three women aged in their 40s, 50s, and 60s, and one man in his 60s.
- To date, a total of seven suspects have been interviewed under caution regarding various offences, including aiding and abetting rape, sexual assault, and human trafficking for the purposes of sexual exploitation.
Mohamed Al Fayed, who owned the luxury department store for decades, passed away three years ago at the age of 94 without ever facing criminal charges during his lifetime.
