President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump cast their ballots in person on Saturday for the midterm elections. The couple voted at the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections office, marking the first day of early voting in Florida, which remains open from October 24 through Halloween. The president is traveling most days to hold rallies for Republicans. Melania Trump secures “temporary ceasefire” in Ukrainian city.
Although the president previously stated a personal preference for voting on Election Day, he is registered in Palm Beach County and opted to vote early this year. In past election cycles, Mr. Trump had utilized mail-in ballots, despite his frequent public criticism regarding the security and expansion of mail-in voting methods.
Following his stop in Florida, the president departed for a campaign rally in Perry, Georgia, to support Republican candidates Mike Collins and Rick Jackson.
Speaking on their behalf, Mr. Trump described the pair as “two incredible people. He also targeted their opposition on Truth Social, labeling them as “Radical Left Lowlifes and Lunatics” while claiming they would endanger gun rights, border security, and competitive sports standards. Their opponents are Radical Left Lowlifes and Lunatics who want to Take Away Your Guns, Open Your Borders, Allow Men To Play In Women’s Sports, and have Transgender nonsense for everyone.
The president’s schedule remains packed with frequent travel for Republican events. His recent itinerary included stops in South Carolina on Wednesday, Iowa on Thursday, and Fort Myers, Florida, on Friday. Despite his active campaign schedule, Mr. Trump has not yet clarified his specific plans for Election Day and declined to provide details when questioned by reporters earlier this week. He didn’t answer when reporters asked this week what he’ll be doing that day.
The voting activity in Florida reflects the president’s continued focus on key battleground states as the campaign cycle nears its conclusion. His campaign efforts currently emphasize rallying support across regions where Republican candidates face tight contests.
