A husband in his sixties from Stockport, Greater Manchester, has pleaded guilty to more than 60 offences against his wife over a period stretching back to 2004.
Appearing at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court, the defendant became visibly emotional while admitting to dozens of charges, including rape, assault by penetration, and administering a substance with intent.
The victim watched the proceedings from the public gallery with the support of her family members.
While the husband admitted to these counts, 12 other men have denied multiple serious sexual offences involving the same woman, with accusations spanning from September 2018 to November 2025.
A 13th man had previously entered a guilty plea for sexual offences against the woman.
The individuals facing allegations alongside the ongoing trial include Jordan Wallace, 31, from Manchester; Mohammed Sabir, 28, of no fixed abode; and Graham Brougham, 74, from Northwich, Cheshire.
Other defendants listed are Richard Townsend, 37, from Rochdale; Karl Lindsay, 55, from Taunton, Somerset; Daniel Rayner, 42, from Whitstable, Kent; and David Graves, 59, from Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
The husband will be formally sentenced after the conclusion of the trial, which is scheduled to continue in the coming weeks. The report also notes that a man accused of drugging and raping his wife without her knowledge for more than 20 years has admitted 60 offences against her.
